PROJECT MANAGER POSITION

Position Description -

GBCo is looking to expand its residential construction (new home and major remodeling projects) staff by adding a Project Manager who is a seasoned professional or working to become one.  As a personable and proactive team leader / manager, the successful candidate is person will work with very exacting clients, regulatory officials, and a project's field construction team including suppliers and subcontractors. 

This position's main objective is to maintain high product quality standards.  Additionally, the incumbent will ensure projects are conducted and completed within each project's rigorously designed scope, schedule, and budget. The successful candidate will generally be running more than one project at one time.  Using the Company's latest computer-based tools and support from other company experts, this position ensures that all construction work is done compliant with current building codes in a safe workplace. The ability to strategically plan material procurement and manage the timely application of subcontractor resources is a must as is the ability to foresee potential issues to achieve on-time project completion.

As a high-performing project manager, the successful candidate will be able to organize, motivate and direct the project team to ensure the delivery of a successful project.

Qualifications -

  • At least a two-year college education. 
  • At least 5 years of work experience in residential construction is desired.
  • At least 2 years as a Project Manager or Project Manager in training.
